Utility here refers to how we represent the worth or value of a certain scenario, for example, the utility of doing nothing, that is, not asking the other person out and remaining friends, is ZERO since it results in no change to that person's current situation. Meanwhile, the utility of a displeasing situation is negative and a beneficial situation is positive. The sliders below are intended for you to measure how favorably or unfavorably you would find the following results of "Shooting your shot," so set each slider to the number that you feel best represents how much favor or disfavor you associate with each scenario.
